The Water Ball - In Support Of Innovative Cardiac Research At Sunnybrook!

You may not know, but 6 years ago I almost died from Congestive Heart Failure.

The condition which lead to my CHF seems to be hereditary (my mom and grandmother both have it), but I didn't grow up with my family, so I had no idea I suffered from an enlarged heart, which became inflamed due to illness and subsequently tripled in size "over night".

I was given 3 days to live MAX by one of the top cardiologists in the world. Thankfully, I pulled through & made a full recovery. I'm very lucky to be healthy, alive and not in need of anything other than some daily medications.

Naturally, causes which are cardiac related jump out at me and I was asked to help spread the word about this amazing event, The WATER BALL, the official after party for the WATER BALL CUP, a sold out golf tournament taking place at the prestigious Angus Glen golf course.

Both events are in support of leading edge Cardiac technology being developed at Sunnybrook's Schulich Heart Centre, a global leader in minimally invasive heart procedures. These procedures require state-of-the-art implantable devices that are so new they are not yet funded by the government.

It happens next Thursday, July 10th at Oliver & Bonacini's Arcadian Loft (401 Bay St. At Queen & Bay).
